Services

Policies That Relate to Our Service Delivery

  • Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation – Every person has the right to live a life free from violence, abuse, harm, neglect, and exploitation.  We are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our participants.
  • Advocacy – We acknowledge that a participant is entitled to nominate an advocate of their choice to be involved in the service planning and monitoring of their service delivery. 
  • Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination – All services are provided in a safe, flexible, and respectful environment, free from all forms of bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
  • Complaint Management – We acknowledge the right of participants and/or staff to raise concerns regarding service delivery without fear of retribution.  We take all complaints seriously, treat all people fairly and complete all corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Conflict of Interest – All staff are obligated to disclose any conflicts of interest to ensure they are managed effectively.
  • Continuity of Supports – We are committed to ensuring all day-to-day operations are managed in an efficient and effective way to avoid disruptions and ensure continuity of care to our participants.
  • Decision Making and Consent – We support the rights of each person to exercise control over their lives and ensure that our participants are involved in the decision making at planning, implementation, and reviews. Written consent is required prior to collecting or sharing personal information, implementing services, or dealing with any financial matters.
  • Diversity and Inclusion – We support and promote an inclusive environment that recognises, respects and values individual differences of all people engaged with our services including participants and staff.
  • Entry and Exit – Our services are available to people with disability who are eligible for NDIS funding. Our intake process is done in a manner which is fair, consistent, and transparent. We acknowledge that participants have the right to cancel or withdraw from services at their discretion and this will not impact on their access to future services with us.  And we reserve the right to cancel services for participants if we are unable to provide services that meet their individual needs.
  • Incident Management – Staff must practice diligent reporting to the Director of any event that resulted in or could have threatened the health, safety and/or wellbeing of participants and/or themselves and/or loss or damage to property.
